I have been flying in Europe and the US since 1974 and currently am a pilot for Channel Express. I am also a Flying Instructor, but the expertise to write this book came not from just my own training experiences but mostly from several years working as the Sales & Marketing manager for flying schools which conducted training for commercial licences and ratings.

During this time I was frequently asked questions by many pilots, from beginners to 20,00 hour 747 Captains holding foreign licences, the answers to which I had to research. This book is the result of that research and its regular updates are the natural consequence of my continued interest in flight training.
